YUMMY IN MY TUMMY

By Josie Whitehead

Yummy in My Tummy

Said an otter: 'I wish I could catch a nice fish.
It’s what otters like most for their tea.'
Whilst the owl in the tree quickly added with glee:
'A tasty young mouse will do me.'

The hen said: 'Cluck cluck,' to the little white duck.
'There are lots of nice things in the ground.'
Whilst a cat said: 'Meow,' to a black and white cow:
'Well cream is the best thing I’ve found.'

Said a bird in its nest: 'Well what I like the best
Is a wriggly worm for my tea,'
But good fish and chips, passing through human lips,
Tops the list as I’m sure you’ll agree.
