WELCOME TO MY ARK
(Part 3)
By Josie Whitehead
Narrator
Goodness! Noah and his wife, and his sons and daughters-in-law, had such a lot of work to do, but eventually, all the animals were in the ark and the doors were shut, and they were fed and went to sleep, but, the sky got very, very dark and they were awoken to the sound of thunder and lightning because the storm, which God had spoken of, had arrived.
(The Storm)
The big black clouds came in the sky
And wished the golden sun goodbye.
The sky went black and lightning flashed.
The rain beat down and thunder clashed.
CHORUS:
Pitter patter, pitter patter
How the rain came down.
It washed the fields and forests
And came down on every town.
Pitter patter, pitter patter
Really heavy rain.
The water just flowed everywhere
And even blocked the drain.
Pitter patter, pitter patter,
Larger drops of rain,
Beating on the chimney pots
And on the window pane.
Pitter patter, pitter patter,
Hammering on the door.
Rain, rain, and pouring rain:
More and more and more.
