WELCOME TO MY ARK

WELCOME TO MY ARK - part 2
There was so much work done by Noah, his sons, his wife and daughters-in-law, that bit by bit, the biggest ark in the world was eventually built and the shopping was done, but the next part of the story soon came, for the animals started to appear, ready to go into the ark. So, tell me what sorts of animals and birds would you think appeared, and I will tell you what I think:
There were some quite big
And others quite small.
Some were short
But others were tall.

Some were bold
But some were shy.
Some walked in
But some could fly.

Some were noisy
And some were dumb.
Some seemed happy
And others were glum.
Creatures arrived of the day
And of the dark
And Mr Noah said: ‘Welcome!
Welcome to my Ark!’

Who came then?

In came an elephant.
My what a size!
And lots of little birds flew
From out of the skies.

Then two monkeys arrived
And a great big shark.
And Mr Noah said: ‘Welcome!
Welcome to my Ark.’

Two fat pigs arrived
And a pair of buffalo,
But where Noah put them
I guess I’ll never know.

The ducks quacked loudly
And the horses said: ‘Neigh,’
And the ark was very noisy
Upon this rainy day.

The sheep bleated loudly
And the dogs began to bark
But Mr Noah said: ‘Welcome!
You’re all welcome to our ark!’
