JOSIE'S POEMS
TWO MANGLES AND A MIGGLE
By Josie Whitehead
Two Mangles and a Miggle
In a town called Spingle Spangle
Lived a man called Mr Mangle,
And his dog, whose name was Miggle,
Danced when Mangle played the fiddle.
Now Mrs Mangle wore a bangle
Which, when she ran, went jingle jangle,
But when she threw a ball for Miggle,
Her bangle broke right through the middle.
Poor Miggle’s lead got in a tangle.
Mrs M was almost strangled,
But just in time came Mr Twiggle
And saved the day for her and Miggle.
