Tummy Ache at Easter-time?

'An Easter egg was heard to say

Upon a lovely springtime day:'

​

‘I hate all children – girls and boys –

They’re greedy and make too much noise.’

 

'Two other Easter eggs proclaimed:'

​

‘And none of them will feel ashamed

 By hunting for us – every one,'   

 

 ‘And gobbling us, to them, is fun!’

 

‘Those greedy kids don’t care at all

 For us, who are, to them, quite small.’

​

‘We hope, especially for our sake,

That all of them get tummy ache!’

​
