Our Natural World

The animals that share our world

Deserve to have their space.

We’re taking over planet earth.

It’s really a disgrace.

Rain forests are vanishing,

Cut down and then replaced

By oil and rubber plantations - -

Planted with due haste.

So many people in our world

Are eating up Earth’s space.

The more they have the more they want.

It’s really a disgrace.

The creatures living in God’s world,

Who share our earthly home,

Are finding that there’s nowhere left

For them to freely roam.

Dispatched to zoos and caged for life?

Would this life be for you?

Of course not but just tell me now,

What can these creatures do?

Give nature space to live and thrive

Within the world we share.

Speak up you folk on Planet Earth:

Show nature that you care.
