JOSIE'S POEMS
Funny Poems for Children

REVEAL YOURSELF
(Limericks)
By Josie Whitehead
I’m the alien who comes to your class -
The one you don’t see as you pass.
I’m the touch that you feel
That can make you all squeal
With fingers as soft as the grass.
I’m the scent that you smell all around -
The face that could truly astound.
My home’s in a place
Quite far out in space,
But it’s here that my feet touch the ground.
So take care with the things that you say.
I’m invisible much of the day,
But when day turns to night
You may well get a fright -
Then I’ll hurriedly speed on my way.
