PERCY PECKLE
PICKLED A PEAR
By Josie Whitehead
Percy Peckle Pickled a Pear
When Percy Peckle pickled a pear,
He bottled a bluebottle and balanced a bear.
He collected a curry, discovered a deer;
Buried a bone and then bought a beer.
Although Percy Peckle pickled a pear,
The buzzing bluebottle caused him despair.
Whilst the bear and curry both disappeared
He feasted on pheasant. Now wasn’t that weird?
