Though my eyebrows are orange 
     And my eyes are quite red;
Though I wear an umbrella
     On top of my head;

Though I walk with a hop
     But perhaps rather slow,
I am perfectly normal
     I’d like you to know.

​

So you think I’m not listening
     And seem deep in thought?
Then I sometimes shout loudly
     And seem overwrought?

​

With my long matted beard
     That’s as white as the snow,
I am perfectly normal
     I’d like you to know.

​

Yes, I fall about laughing
     When I really should cry;
Yes, I read *double Dutch
     Without needing to try - - -

​

      OH - OH - OH - OH!

 

And perhaps I am strange
     And others agree –
But it’s perfectly normal,
      For someone like me.
