N      Now it’s the start of a very long year and

E     Each year’s seen in with a welcoming cheer.

​

W     We shake off the past and welcome the new.

​

Y     You’ll play your part, whatever you do.

​

E     Each person’s effort’s important you see

​

A     As I am quite sure that you all will agree - but

​

R     Remember to work, but also have fun

​

And with this thought in mind, my poem is done!
