God’s angels circle round our earth

     And look down from above.

They bring their blessing to our world

      And God sends down His love. 

 

The angels sprinkle loving dust

      On people down below,

And, quietly on the gentle breeze,

      They fly on wings of snow.

 

Sometimes someone sees them pass

        Across the evening sky,

Though it’s seldom that one's ever seen,

      Because they’re very shy.

 

So look up at the sky sometimes:

      You might have a surprise

To see an angel, dressed in white,

      Who’s flying through the skies.
