We should show love to others around us 
     And to those who are not quite the same;
To the people who struggle with living -
   To the blind, to the deaf and the lame.

All humans need love and affection,
     And respect for the persons they are,
For taunting and teasing is hurtful
    And can leave an emotional scar.

​

Give out love and assistance to others;
   Show respect for their race and their creed,
And, engage your own heart before speaking,
     As you look to those other folks’ needs.

​
