Gastronomically Speaking

Insectivores!  What do they munch?
Well insects make a tasty lunch.
These creatures soon will lick their lips
At nice grilled worms, but please, no chips!

A carnivore prefers his meat.
So tell me just what he what might eat?
Roast beef, grilled fish and meaty stew
Are loved by carnivores like you.

Herbivores?  They don’t want meat,
So plants and vegetables they’ll eat.
A sheep, a cow, a goat or ass
Enjoy a tasty field of grass.

Omnivores, like you and me,
Will eat most things we all agree:
Fruit and veg, and tasty meat?
Yes, all of these we humans eat.
