Your dog will love to play with you.
      I’m sure your cat will too –
And you’ll see lots of creatures play,
     When you go to the zoo.

Games are fun - I’m sure you know:
     So what games do you play?
Well ask the children at your school
     And hear just what they say.

​

You can play games on a table top;
     You can play some on the floor.
You may have lots of games at home,
     But on birthdays may get more.

​

Some games require your energy
     And people will compete.
Some games require your finger tips
     And some require your feet.

​

With some you’ll need to concentrate,
     And some are classed as 'sport',
But it’s great that we have lots of them –
     Yes, games of every sort.
