DEAR FATHER CHRISTMAS
- Shhh
By Josie Whitehead
Dear Father Christmas:
I know you’ve work to do . . . BUT
Our neighbour keeps a fearsome lion
Who escaped from London Zoo.

I don’t want him to eat you up;
I’m waiting for my toys,
So, please Father Christmas,
Do not make a noise.

Dear Father Christmas:
At the house across the street
They keep a wicked crocodile
Who likes old men to eat.

I don’t want him to eat you up;
I’m waiting for my toys,
So, please Father Christmas,
Do not make a noise.

Dear Father Christmas:
Don’t go to number eight.
The deadly scorpion at this house
Is lying there in wait.

Look, forget the other houses
And bring their toys to me.
I’m only showing my concern
As surely you can see!
