Dawn Chorus

A sparrow chirped inside a hedge,
     The crow called, 'caw, caw, caw' -
Whilst the donkey in the field below
      Said: 'Yes, ee-ore, ee-ore.'

The little mouse said: 'squeak squeak squeak,'
      Whilst the barn owl said: 'Twit twoo'
And the sheep joined in and said: 'Baa baa'
      Whilst the cow replied: 'Moo moo.'


 

 

 

 

The cat then said a loud 'meow'
     Whilst the hen said: 'Cluck cluck cluck' -

But who do you think said: 'Quack quack quack?'
     Of course it was the . . . . . . . . . . duck.
