Cool green, like the trees which reflect into lakes, 
     And safe green which will tell you to go.
Green frogs, green birds and also green snakes 
      Or just watching the green water flow.

The shy little shamrock that hides in our woods; 
     Jealous beasts with their scary green eyes.
Cool colours of green which will make you feel good 
     And green grass but oh, never green pies!

​

Delicious green vegetables - cabbage and beans,
     And green emeralds, precious and rare.
Oh, don't forget leprechauns dressed all in green,
      But of course not a green grizzly bear!
