All those witches and wizards,

     Small fairies and gnomes

Have all been let loose

      And discovered new homes:

​

In the pictures in books

     And -  look on that screen!

They’re the wickedest, wildest ones

      I’ve ever seen.

 

They will enter your dreams

     When you never suspect,

And will steal through your mind

     When you little expect . . . 

 

To find witches and wizards,

      Small fairies and gnomes

Who all wander our world

     And then look for new homes.

 

At the end of the day,

     When you shut up your eyes,

They then move to your mind,

     And, perhaps in disguise.

​

So your dream-world’s been taken

      To be their new home –

All those witches, those wizards,

     Small fairies and gnomes!

​
